Spring 2012 Diversity Themed Field Trip
The School of Social Work Undergraduate Program is pleased to announce the spring 2012 diversity themed field trip to Canada and the Detroit area! We will visit the Canadian Underground Railroad sites in Buxton, Ontario, have lunch in Mexicantown in Detroit, and tour the Arab American Museum in Dearborn. The date of the trip is Saturday, March 31, with a return on Sunday, April 1. We will leave from the front of Baker Hall at 8 am sharp and should be back to Baker by 5 pm on Sunday.
If you are interested in going on the trip, please fill out the form below and return it to Sue Bowden, MSU School of Social Work, 153 Baker Hall, East Lansing MI 48824 by March 1, 2012, along with a $20 deposit check (we cannot accept cash) payable to MSU. The remaining $40 is due by March 19, 2012. Reservations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. If you are bringing a friend or family member, be sure to list the name on your form, along with their deposit.
This trip replicates the very popular trip we took to Windsor and Detroit last year, which everyone enjoyed so much, they clamored for another one!
